Sturm Graz matchday, fan first

Sturm Graz are the black-and-white half of Graz and one of the few Austrian clubs to break Salzburg's grip on the title. Their home, the Merkur Arena in the Liebenau district, holds about 15,400 and sits roughly 3km south of the old town. Tram 4 runs straight to Stadion Graz Liebenau, so most fans base themselves in the centre and ride out. Use Graz's UNESCO old town and the Lend district for food and a night out, and keep the build-up around the Schwoazn ultras in the south stand. Away fans sit in the south stand and should follow official guidance. This page covers who Sturm are, what they have won, how tickets work, how to reach Liebenau, and where to eat, drink and stay before and after the game.
