Hertha BSC matchday, fan first

Hertha play at one of Europe's most storied stadiums — the 1936 Olympic venue in Westend, Berlin. The Olympiastadion is the destination, but the area around it is sparse for food and drink. The practical move: eat and drink near the S9/U2 route before heading out, then travel the short hop to Olympiastadion station. Home fans have the Ostkurve and pre-match trucks in the eastern car park; away fans use the official away blocks (G, H, 15-17) and stadium food only. For a night out, Charlottenburg/Kurfürstendamm or Mitte give far better options than anything on the stadium doorstep.
